The fire broke out at an SRA building in Dahisar's Shantinagar area on Wednesday, July 15, 2020. The incident was reported in the morning on Wednesday and the city was experiencing heavy rainfall. Upon receiving the information, 4 fire engines rushed to the spot and the rescue operation is underway.
As per reports, the fire broke out in the meter room located in the B-wing of an SRA building named Jankalyan Society in Dahisar's Shantinagar area. Police have evacuated the building and the rescue teams immediately cut off the power supply to the building avoiding major damage. No injuries have been reported yet.
Reports also state that there was a fire incident reported earlier at the same location.
