The Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has decided to make toilets at all its bus stations freely accessible to passengers, in a move aimed at improving convenience for the general public. The implementation of this decision will begin from June 1.
Under this initiative, MSRTC will take over the management of toilets at all bus stations from private contractors. The corporation will also assume responsibility for their maintenance and cleanliness, ensuring a uniform standard across all stations.
This decision is expected to provide significant relief to passengers by reducing their additional expenses. It will also focus on improving the overall cleanliness and quality of toilet facilities.
Along with this, MSRTC plans to set up drinking water stations at major bus terminals to provide passengers with free access to clean and cool drinking water.
Through these measures, MSRTC has reiterated its commitment to offering passengers better services, as well as safe and comfortable travel experiences.
