Mumbai: Three fell into drain in Malad's Malvani; Two die, one critical

Three youths fell into the drain of a public toilet in Malad Malvani on Thursday evening. The three persons involved in the incident, which took place at Malwani Gate No. 8, managed to get out. Doctors declared two of them brought dead when they were admitted to the hospital.

The accident took place at around 5:30 pm in the Ambujwadi area of Malvani, west of Malad. Three young men fell into the toilet's 15 feet deep sewage drain. This toilet is being maintained by a private contractor. However, it is being said that he neglected.

These three youths were taken out by the citizens of the locality and admitted to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Hospital. Among the three, Suraj Kewat (18) and Bikas Kewat (20) died. Ramlagan Kewat (45) is in critical condition. He is being treated in the hospital.
