Water is supplied through the 500 mm diameter main canal from Nilje to Diva old ward no. 27 and 28 that fall under the Diva Ward Committee. On the said channel, Usarghar Railway Culvert, Palava City Compound, has started a large-scale leakage, causing frequent low pressure water supply in the area. Accordingly, it is essential to stop the leakage in the main water channel and in order to stop the above leakage in the main water channel. There will be no water supply from Friday May 26, 2023 from 10.00 am to next day until 6:00 pm for 8 hours in Diva City Ward no. 27 and 28.
After the start of water supply in the said area, water will be supplied at low pressure for the next 1 to 2 days. However, citizens should store water properly.

After the completion of the said leakage work under Diva Ward Committee Agasan, Baitewade, Ganesh Nagar, Bedekar Nagar, Mhasoba Nagar, Shanti Nagar, B.R. Nagar, Mundra Devi Colony, Sabe Village, Diva West etc., it will help to reduce water related complaints in the area. However, the Thane Municipal Corporation has appealed to the citizens to cooperate with the Municipal Corporation with the repair work.
