Attention! No water supply for 24 hours in Thane on Friday

Due to the maintenance and repair of the water channel of STEM Authority and repair of the water channel of Thane Municipal Corporation on Saket bridge, there will be no water supply for 24 hours i.e. from Friday, May 26 9:00 am to Saturday, May 27 until 9:00 am.

The works of maintenance and repair of the water channel of STEM Authority will be done during this period. Also, the main water channel supplying water to Thane city will be repaired and valves replaced at Saket Bridge. This 24 hours shut down will be taken for these works.

During this period, water supply in Ghodbunder Road, Lokmanya Nagar, Vartak Nagar, Saket, Ritu Park, Jail premises, Gandhi Nagar, Rustamji, Indira Nagar, Rupadevi, Srinagar, Samata Nagar, Siddheshwar, Eternity, Johnson, Mumbra and Kalwa will be shut from May 26 9:00 am to May 27 9:00 am. Also, water supply will be at low pressure for the next one to two days.

No water in Kopri on Thursday

As the 500 mm diameter main water distribution channel of Thane Municipal Corporation's Dhobighat Watershed at Kopari is affected by development work, the work of shifting is in progress. As cross connection will be taken for this work, from 9.00 am on Thursday, 25 May from to Friday May 26 till 9:00 am water supply from Dhobighat and Kanhaiyanagar water bodies in Kopri area will be closed for 24 hours.

During this period, the administration has requested the citizens to keep proper storage of water and cooperate with the Municipal Corporation.
