ST Corporation Slashes Holiday Travel Pass Fares for Diwali

With Diwali and the festive season just around the corner, the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) has rolled out a major travel offer to promote tourism and ease travel for citizens.

Under the popular ‘Travel Wherever You Want’ scheme, the fare has been significantly reduced now ranging from just INR 225 to INR 1,254, depending on the pass type. The scheme allows unlimited travel across various ST bus categories, including Sadhi, Jaldoot, Ratrani, Shivshahi, E-Shivai, and Shivneri.

The move comes after the ST Corporation had earlier received approval to hike fares by up to 30%, with a 15% increase already implemented in January 2025, and an additional 10% hike planned for the Diwali season.

However, in light of the recent flood situation in the state, the corporation has decided to cancel the seasonal fare hike, directly benefiting passengers, especially those using the unlimited travel pass.

The scheme offers 4-day and 7-day passes for both adults and children, making it easier and more affordable for families to visit pilgrimage sites, tourist destinations, and other popular spots across Maharashtra during the holidays.
