Very important decisions were taken in the meeting of the State Council of Ministers. Madrassas in Maharashtra received a fund of INR 1.5 crore from the state government. Maharashtra State Minority Development Department has taken this decision. This fund has been distributed for the modernization of madrassas.
37 madrassas of the state will benefit from this. The state government has announced funds for modernisation of madrassas as well as improvement in technology. These include Madrasas in Washim Beed and Nagpur district. To bring the students studying in Madrasas into the mainstream of the society, to provide traditional religious education along with other academic subjects, to provide scholarships for the students, to improve the educational quality of the students. This includes improving their employability as well as their economic growth.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis stated in the cabinet meeting that yellow mosaic virus and fungal disease Khodkooz, Moolkooz have spread on soybean crops in nine districts of the state. Heavy rainfall and September rains, change in temperature and some other factors have affected soybean. Soybean crop is turning yellow especially in Chandrapur, Nagpur, Gadchiroli, Yavatmal, Solapur, Latur, Washim, Nanded districts. Therefore, instructions have been given that this Punchnama should be done on priority.
