Maharashtra State Road Corporation (MSRTC)-run state transport (ST) bus drivers and the staff will not be able to go on a strike for the next six months as MSRTC has included ST bus in the list of public utility services. The decision has been taken considering the financial loss caused by the strike carried out by ST bus drivers. A Government resolution (GR) has been issued for the same.

According to the GR, ST buses have been announced as public utility service post October 12, 2018 and will continue for the next six months.
However, this decision did not go well with the ST workers who expressed that they will not care about the state GR and will go on strike if needed.
