Sanatan Sanstha wanted to carry out terror attacks in Mumbai, Pune

After arresting Sanatan Sanstha member Vaibhav Raut in connection with the Nalasopara Explosive Case, Maharashtra Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Thursday filed a chargesheet mentioning the saffron organisation 'Sanatan Sanstha', saying that they planned to carry out terror attacks in Mumbai, Pune and other places. 

In the chargesheet filed, the ATS has mentioned Vaibhav Raut (44) and others including Sharad Kalaskar (25), Sadbhawana Gondlekar (39), Shrikant Pangarkar (40), Avinash Pawar (30), Leeladhar Ukhirde (32), Vasudev Suryavanshi (19), Suchit Kumar Rangaswamy (37), Bharat Kurne (37), Amol Kale (34), Amit Buddi (27), and Ganesh Dashrath Miskin (28). They all are under judicial custody and other accused are still absconding.

It was being said earlier that the people who have been arrested by the ATS were planning to target the Sunburn festival last year in Pune. According to them, the festival goes against the Hindu culture. However, they did not attempt the same.
