Mumbai: Body of female sub-inspector found in suspicious state in house; Investigation is underway

A woman sub-inspector's body has been found in the Nehru Nagar area of Mumbai. According to Mumbai Police, the name of the deceased woman sub-inspector was Sheetal Yedke. 35-year-old Sheetal Yedke was on sick leave for the last one and a half years. ANI has given a report in this regard. 

Further investigation of the matter is underway. Nothing suspicious was found at her place and the investigation is underway, said Zone 6 DCP Hemraj Rajput who inspected the deceased’s house.

Sheetal Yedke lived in a rented house in the Nehru Nagar area of Mumbai. Neighbours informed the police when the dead body started emanating a foul smell.  When the police broke the door and entered, Sheetal Yedke's body was found in this house in a decomposed state. In the preliminary investigation, the police believe that the case is of suicide. Meanwhile, police have filed an ADR in this case.
