Finally, Mumbai police were successful in locating HDFC Bank Vice-President Siddarth Sanghvi’s dead body, five days after he went missing on Kalyan’s Haji Malang road. His body was wrapped in a cloth and was found by the road. It is believed that he was killed because of professional jealousy.
In 2007, Sanghvi joined Lower Parel’s HDFC bank branch as a Senior Manager and in the span of 11 years, he was promoted thrice. Currently, he was working as the VP. This didn’t go down well with his co-workers, who decided to kill Sanghvi.
On Wednesday, Sanghvi was killed in the office parking lot and the murderers wrapped his body in a cloth and threw it on Kalyan’s Haji Malang road’s Kakadwal village. The very same day, Sanghvi’s family filed a missing complaint with NM Joshi Marg police and police started to look out for him.
While investigating, police detained his co-workers and driver. One female is said to be included in the crime as well. Meanwhile, Sanghvi’s co-workers admitted of his murder. Out of four, two were his co-workers while one was the driver and the other was a contract killer.
20-year-old contract killer Raees aka Sarfraz Sheikh informed police that they discarded his body at Haji Malang road in Kalyan. Police have found traces of blood near the parking lot. The same has been sent to the forensic lab and further investigation is going on.
