An incident of a person named Rohit Arya holding 17 minor children hostage in Powai, Mumbai had come to light. After this incident, the police safely rescued 17 children. Rohit Arya died during this operation. Rohit Arya was shot while attacking the police and died while undergoing treatment after being shot in the chest. Meanwhile, Advocate Nitin Satpute has raised some questions regarding the death of Rohit Arya. Not only this, Satpute has also said that he will seek a court order for an investigation into the matter.
Speaking to Marathi news channel ABP Majha, Satpute said that the safety of children should definitely be ensured. The act done by Rohit Arya is wrong. Children should not have been held hostage. But the police are trained on what to do when such an incident occurs. Could he have just been shot? Or could there have been no other solution? He was in contact with DCP Nalawade for two hours, discussing it. So what did you do during the discussion? Why didn't you contact his family? He was in contact with Kesarkar, so why didn't you contact him? These are the questions raised by Adv. Nitin Satpute.
Why did he (Rohit Arya) take this step, what he did to kidnap the children? Why didn't you give him the money? The government created this situation. When DCP Nalawade was in contact with them for two hours, he could have settled this by telling them that we will pay you and that you should not do anything bad like this and could have avoided this incident. Lawyer Nitin Satpute further said that the DCP did not do that, the government did not do that, the Home Department did not do that, and Kesarkar did not do that either.
He and his wife had been on a hunger strike for the past month. Once he fell unconscious and was admitted to the hospital. He tried many times to get his money from the government, but the government did not give him his money. He once thought of committing suicide after not getting the money. Just as kidnapping children is wrong, committing suicide is also wrong.
He must have thought, who would commit suicide and give money to my family, so he fought back, he watched a movie called Thursday, and he knows the Kandahar case. At that time too, an Indian plane was hijacked, the government came forward to fulfill their demands, and after fulfilling their demands, they were released. "Then this man was an Indian, wasn't he? Was he your man? Was he doing government work? Then would such a gentleman harm children? You should have thought about that," Satpute also said.
It is commendable that the children were rescued. But along with that, it is also necessary to take care of the citizens. It is wrong to kill someone to rescue the children. He was not a criminal. Satpute also said that there were no crimes against him. Why didn't you shoot him in the leg first? Satpute raised the question and said that he will go to court in this matter and that an investigation should be conducted into it.
He was not a gangster or a terrorist that you should shoot him in the chest, how many attempts did the police make? If he had a gun, how many bullets did he fire? Were there any bullets fired at the guards? He also raised the question.

What petition will he file in court?
The police did not take any primitive measures. He was talking to the DCP for two hours, when this matter could have been hushed up. He could have been explained or his life could have been saved by taking other measures and the children could have been saved as well. This is the skill of the police. But the police did not use any skill in this, Satpute also said.
“An API named Amol Waghmare wants to become a hero, he wants to become Pradeep Sharma, Daya Nayak, Praful Bhosale.... He wants to earn a name by doing what all the old encounter guys did. Therefore, he has committed heroism by killing. Therefore, a case of murder should be registered against the three as a priority," said Satpute.
