A doctor at Mumbai’s King Edward Memorial (KEM) Hospital was brutally stabbed by the brother of a female staff member employed there. The doctor, who sustained serious injuries, is currently receiving treatment at the same hospital.
Police investigations suggest the attack stemmed from a personal dispute the accused reportedly objected to the doctor’s relationship with his sister. He, along with two accomplices, carried out the assault before fleeing the scene.
A case of attempted murder has been registered, and police have launched a manhunt for the three suspects.
