In another ‘stone-pelting’ incident, two passengers who were travelling in Mumbai local trains were injured. The incident happened in the moving train on the central line where Mohammed Ahmed (27) and Prabhakar Bhate (55) sustained injuries.

Both the injured were travelling on different trains which makes it clears that the stone-pelters targeted two different trains. Earlier, such incidents have been reported on the central railway line.

In the first incident, Ahmed was hit in the face with a stone while he was travelling, which led to severe injuries on his lips, nose and teeth. Ahmed was rushed to Rajwadi Hospital and received seven stitches.
