Television actor and singer, Karan Oberoi, who was a part of 'The Band of Boys,' was arrested on Sunday by Mumbai Police for allegedly raping and blackmailing a woman. This happened after a woman registered a complaint with Oshiwara police station.
The woman informed the police that the actor allegedly raped her on the pretext of marriage. The police informed that Oberoi, who was in a relationship with her since 2016, shot objectionable videos and demanded money from her.
The FIR registered at Oshiwara Police Station states that the Oberoi demanded money after filming the act while threatening to release the video.

The police informed that the accused actor was arrested after the woman filed the complaint and was booked under sections 376 (Rape) and 384 (Extortion) of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
