On May 26, 2025, a 25-year-old woman died by suicide after she jumped from the 23rd floor in Vikhroli. Such was the impact, her body split into half.
The incident took place in Kannamwar Nagar on Monday, May 26, night. According to the police, the victim Harshada Tandolkar, was mentally disturbed. However, the exact reason is not yet clear. She jumped from the 23rd floor and fell on a parked motorcycle, resulting in her body being split in half.

Based on preliminary information, an accidental death report (ADR) was registered in the case and the investigation is underway. No suicide note has been recovered and the police are in touch with the family and her friends to know more about her mental status.
