Second FYJC merit list release date postponed

The second merit list for admission in First Year Junior College (FYJC) was scheduled to be declared on July 16. However, due to technical glitches, the dates have been postponed to July 19.

Of 1,20,566 students who applied for standard XI online admission process, 50,629 students have confirmed their admissions in respective institutes. For the second merit list, 2,12,593 seats are still vacant.

The first merit list included courses like Bachelors in Arts, Science, Commerce, Mass Media, Computer Science, Banking and Finance. This year most of the students have opted for self-finance and commerce courses instead of mainstream science.

Due to heavy rains and technical difficulties, the admission process for FYJC has been disrupted. Meanwhile, 95,891 students from Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, and Amravati have secure admission.
