More than 50,000 students get admission in First Merit List for FYJC in Mumbai

More than 50,000 students get admission in First Merit List for FYJC in Mumbai

The admission process for the First Year Junior College (FYJC) has begun. The first merit list of FYJC was issued on July 5. After the first merit list was issued, more than 1,20,566 became eligible to claim admission in FYJC and out of which, 50,629 confirmed their admission in respective colleges in Mumbai.

Once the list was issued, the students had to confirm and secure the admission between July 6 and July 9. However, due to heavy rains in Mumbai, the date to confirm the admission was extended, after which 50,629 had taken admission in respective colleges on the basis of first merit list whereas 69,375 students failed to confirm their admission.

While more than 50,000 students got admission in Mumbai, so far 95,891 students have completed their admission in FYJC in Pune, Nashik, Nagpur, Aurangabad and Amravati districts along Mumbai.
