The fourth admission list for first-year degree courses under Mumbai University was released on Wednesday, June 11, on the websites of respective colleges. However, many colleges did not release a fourth list as all their seats were already filled based on available intake.
Several colleges received more applications than the number of seats available, which led to an increase of 5–10% in the cut-off marks for both traditional and self-financed courses compared to the third list. Some colleges also saw fluctuations in eligibility scores.
Most of the admission process is now nearly complete, with only a few seats remaining. This means that competition for the fifth admission list—especially in reputed colleges—will be intense.
The online verification of documents and confirmation of admission for students selected in the fourth list is scheduled from June 11 to 13, starting at 4 pm.
The fifth admission list will be published on June 14 at 12 noon, and document verification for this round will take place from June 14 to 18, starting at 5 pm.
