Mumbai - The Powai lake which is the biggest lake in the Island City is going to be beautified soon. The municipal corporation has decided to install LED lights in the area. The civic body will also take measures to stop the sewage water flowing into this lake. An advisor has been appointed to treat the sewage water that is being released in this lake. The beautification project is estimated to cost the BMC around Rs 7-7.5 crore. The proposal in this regard has been put up before the standing committee meeting to be held on Wednesday.
