From Mutton pickle to Solkadi, this festival will have you spoilt for choice. Talking about the same a vendor said,
We saw how people have totally forgotten the traditional methods in which Konkani food is cooked. Our ancestors cooked it in earthen vessels which has now been an almost extinct practice. At this festival, we have used homemade spices which were brought in from Solapur and Kolhapur and have prepared all the dishes in earthen pots which further enhances the taste.
