What’s the story?

Mumbra resident, Zaida Sanaullah Sheikh (45) was being treated for a gall bladder ailment at JJ Hospital. On May 19, Saturday morning, she expired. Her family members then blamed doctors for her death and attacked doctor Atish Parikh and a woman doctor who were on duty, fracturing her hand. Acting on the incident, the police have arrested five people including a woman under sections 352, 353 of IPC.

After this incident, 400 doctors went on strike. They continued their protest after their failed talks with authorities concerned.
