MMRC to create a documentary on the Metro-3 project to educate and inform people

What’s the story?

The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation (MMRC) on Thursday announced that they will film a documentary on the ongoing work of Colaba-Bandra-Seepz Metro-3 underground project by appointing a private agency.

MMRC aim is to telecast the documentary globally to create awareness about the project implementation and its benefits.

MMRC has been under tremendous scrutiny as the Metro-3 project has caused a lot of unrest among Mumbaikars. But now, they are wanting to explain their side of the story through this documentary.

Right from the felling of trees to the construction of Metro car depot inside Aarey Milk Colony, MMRC has been heavily criticised for their work.

MMRC has invited Expression of Interest from interested agencies working in the field of multimedia and film production for the work preparing high-definition documentary (audio-visual) on the implementation of Mumbai Metro Line 3 covering special events and activities for the entire project development phase.
