Mumbai: New FOB Between Mankhurd And Vashi Inaugurated

The Mumbai Railway Development Corporation (MRVC) on Friday inaugurated a new Foot Over Bridge (FOB) between Mankhurd and Vashi on the Harbour line. The 4 meter wide structure, built under the trespass control scheme, is 20 meters long, which is an important bridge for pedestrians in the region.

Construction of the FOB began in April 2023 and was officially inaugurated on Friday after months of dedicated efforts. The total cost of the MRVC-led project is INR 2 crore, confirmed MRVC Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Sunil Udasi.
