After the split in Shiv Sena, the conflict between Thackeray and Shinde faction is increasing. The leaders of both the groups are making verbal attacks on each other. Shiv Sena UBT organised a public meeting of Konkan residents living in northeast Mumbai in Bhandup on Sunday (November 27). In this meeting, former Mayor Datta Dalvi had strongly criticised the simile of 'Hindu Hriday Samrat' used before the name of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde during the Rajasthan election campaign. Due to this the leaders and workers of Shinde group became aggressive.

Dutta Dalvi abused Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in a public meeting. The Shinde group lodged a complaint with the Bhandup police alleging that he had made a derogatory statement about a person holding a constitutional post.

Meanwhile, following the complaint of Shinde group, Bhandup police registered a case against  Mayor Dutta Dalvi under sections 153 (A), 153 (B), 153 (A) (1) C, 294.
