Maratha Kranti Morcha activists have been protesting while being on a fast to press their demands regarding reservation and other demands for the Maratha community. They have been protesting for almost 12 days now, and many activists have suffered health problems.

Maratha activists protesting at Mumbai’s Azad Maidan are reluctant to step back from their struggle until their demands are met. With Maharashtra government not paying attention, the activists have decided to intensify their movement.

The Maratha community has decided to march towards Mantralaya on November 19 with their demands. Moreover, another group will also participate in the agitation and will fast from November 26 to strengthen the movement.

Earlier, Maharashtra government assured the community that their demands for reservation will be fulfilled soon. However, nothing notable has been done for the Maratha community. In the protest, a professor from Hingoli and Maratha Kranti Morcha coordinator Sambhaji Patil along with 12 other people are on an indefinite fast.

As this happened, the activists have faced health issues and the Maratha activists said that if anything happens to these protestors, only the state government will be responsible for it. The agitation is set to intensify.
