Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) Chief Raj Thackeray, who is also an avid cartoonist, has been lately busy drawing humorous cartoons of opposition leaders. Where he did not spare anyone from Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), be it India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Amit Shah, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, now he has taken a dig at Mumbai’s Mayor - Vishwanath Mahadeshwar.
As Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray’s memorial will come at the existing Mumbai Mayor’s bungalow, the latter was shifted to Byculla’s Jijamata Zoo. MNS Chief drew the cartoon citing the funny situation of Mahadeshwar, where he is shown trapped in a cage alongside a bear and other animals. He has also shown a mother who is telling her son not to feed the mayor locked in the cage.
Initially, when Shiv Sena chose Mumbai Mayor’s place to build Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackery’s memorial, Mahadeshwar was not ready to move out. He had asked to move him to a bungalow situated in Malabar Hill. However, gradually, he gave in and got ready to move to Byculla zoo.
