Shiv Sena carried out a protest at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (CSIA) demanding to change the name of the same to Chhatrapati Shivaji 'Maharaj' International Airport. The protest was led by Shiv Sena MLA Anil Parab who informed that SS has been demanding the same for the last four years.

Parab added that GVK personnel should not forget that there is Shivaji Maharaj’s statue placed at Andheri’s International Airport.
It seems GVK has no respect towards Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj due to which they disrespect him. We will not tolerate more insult of Shivaji Maharaj. We will shut down the airport, if our demands are not met,” Anil Parab, Shiv Sena, MLA.
