Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday welcomed six MPs from the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT) into the Shiv Sena, calling their decision a vote of confidence in the party's leadership and ideology.

Addressing party workers after the induction, Shinde assured the newly joined MPs that the party would stand firmly behind them and work to ensure their electoral success in the future. He said the leaders had taken a bold political decision and would be rewarded with the support of party workers and voters across Maharashtra.

“These six MPs have shown courage by choosing the path of Balasaheb Thackeray's ideology. I assure them that Shiv Sena will stand with them, and we will make them victorious in the coming elections,” Shinde said.

The induction of the six MPs is being viewed as a major breakthrough for the Shinde-led Shiv Sena under its ongoing “Operation Tiger” campaign. The move significantly strengthens the party's parliamentary presence while dealing a setback to the Thackeray faction.

Shinde also claimed that the growing number of leaders joining his camp reflects increasing confidence in the Mahayuti government's development agenda and the Shiv Sena's leadership. He expressed confidence that more leaders and workers would join the party in the coming months.

The event was attended by senior Shiv Sena leaders and workers, who hailed the entry of the six MPs as a significant boost for the party ahead of future electoral contests.
