Even if Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray)-MNS come together in the municipal elections, its impact on Mumbaikars will be zero. Mumbai BJP President Ameet Satam made a strong statement on Wednesday at the 'Lok Satta Lok Samvad' program that the mayor will be elected from the Mahayuti. Satam alleged that the family meetings and dinners of Shiv Sena chief Uddhav and Raj Thackeray in the last few months were a sham.

The Thackeray brothers coming together will have no impact on the Mahayuti. Even if the Thackeray brothers come together for the darshan of Ganpati at home, Deepotsav, Bhaubij and other ceremonies, what do Mumbaikars have to do with it? It is important who and how will provide Mumbaikars with good quality drinking water, good quality roads, hospitals, schools, gardens, playgrounds, etc.

Tell us what projects Thackeray has implemented and important decisions he has taken for the people of Mumbai during his 25 years in power? Due to the municipal elections, the Thackeray brothers are coming together for family events and festivals. Satam also claimed that I can assure you that these Thackeray brothers will not come together for Ganeshotsav, Deepotsav, and Bhaubije next year.

Mahayuti will fight together

BJP, Shiv Sena (Shinde), NCP (Ajit Pawar) will fight the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections together. The seat-sharing talks will start soon and there is no problem in that, said Satam. He also clarified that we are not against the Muslim community but firmly opposed to those who oppose national interest, ‘Vande Mataram’ and those who are involved in or support extremist incidents.
