To help soldiers, A vendor is selling vada pav for ₹5 only

Parel's ‘Aapla Vada Pav’ is known for selling vada pav only for ₹5. And this will be the second time when Aapla Vada pav will be selling their vada pav for a noble cause.

On January 30, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, Mangesh Ahivale, owner of Aapla Vada Pav will sell vada pav soldiers. He will then hand over the collected amount to defence minister Nirmala Sitaraman on January 31. On January 30, the vada pav will be sold at Saarthi hotel.

My aim is to earn ₹1 lakh on January 30 for which I will need Mumbaikars' support. I hope, that people will help me in this cause,” Mangesh Ahivale, Owner, Aapla Vada Pav

Prior to this, he did the same for Mayuresh Haldankar who lost his life in the Elphinstone stampede along with other 22 lives. Ahivale collected the sum and donated it to Haldankar's family.
