Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train Fare To Be Around ₹3000

In a recent meeting held by the National High Speed Rail Corporation (NHSRC) on Thursday, September 12, many important announcements regarding the dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi - the Bullet Train - was made.

Achal Khare, Managing Director of NHSRC stated that the 508km Bullet Train corridor will have 12 stations between Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Due to the project, the authorities will acquire 1380 hectares of private, government, forests and railway land. So far they have acquired 622 (45 per cent) hectares of land and the project is all set to be completed by December 2023.  

She further stated that the Bullet Train will carry 70 rounds (35 rounds from each side) from 6:00 am to 12:00 am and the cost of the ticket will be around ₹3000. The project is expected to start from March 2020 and it will cost a whooping ₹1.8 lakh crores.
