The National High-Speed Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) will be announcing vacancies for the Bullet Train project which is all set to connect Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai and  Sabarmati Railway station in Ahmedabad, which is a 508.17km route along with a 21 km under-sea section.

There will be opening for positions in station operations, train operations, rolling stock, signalling and telecommunications, electrical and track-related departments along with recruiting 28 motormen.  

Notably, Bullet train is India's first high-speed rail line which will run at an operating speed of 320km/hr. The construction of the corridor began in August 2018 and is scheduled for its first run on August 15, 2022. The corridor will use Japan Railways Shinkansen E5 Series Electric multiple unit for its rolling stock. The total cost of the project is around ₹1.10 trillion with a loan of ₹88,000 crore from Japan at an interest rate of 0.1 per cent which will be repaid over a period of 50 years.
