This change in water transport is due to the Navy's program at Gateway of India. For the four months of the rainy season, the ferry from JNPT goes till Bhaucha Dhakka (Ferry Wharf Jetty). Post monsoon, the ferry travels till Gateway Of India. In this regard, the Transport Department of JNPT has released a circular.
