Harbour Railways faces disruption after technical snag at Mankhurd station

Update: The issue took place due to a waist belt getting entangled in the overhead wire that got stuck in the train's pentagon.

Harbour Railways has once again faced a sudden disruption after the rail line's Mankhurd station witnessed a technical snag. The disruption at the peak hour has caused chaos for the commuters who are majorly office-goers.

Reportedly, the rail corporation has been working towards resolving the issue and the services are expected to begin smoothly once again.

However, amidst the repairs, the train service between Mankhurd and Panvel has been shut down. All the trains from CSMT station towards Panvel have been affected. As per the reports, an overhead wire got stuck in a local train's pentagram at Mankhurd station which is believed to be the reason behind the issue.

Meanwhile, some of the local trains from Panvel towards CSMT have been cancelled.
