Traffic going towards Pune on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway will be completely closed on Friday between 12 noon and 2 pm.
The Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC) will undertake the installation of grants on the exit route from Lonavala (km no. 54/225) on Friday between 12 noon and 2:00 pm. Therefore, MSRDC has decided to stop the traffic going towards Pune at this time.

Meanwhile, the traffic going towards Pune from Khandala exit route (km no. 48/200) will be diverted to the old Mumbai – Pune highway, MSRDC explained. Motorists can proceed from Walvan Pathkar Nayak towards Pune via Mumbai – Pune Expressway.
