On Monday, Goyal had a conversation with journalists at Nagpur and declared that along with Samrudhi Highway, he had also been working on the development of a high-speed train running between the two cities. Once the proposal Is approved by the government and the Railway Ministry, the work for the train shall begin.

In order to make the transport between the two cities comfortable, the government had launched a highway scheme, Mumbai-Nagpur Samrudhi Highway. The highway will ensure that the distance is covered within 8-9 hours but due to the land acquisition issue, the scheme has been surrounded by a lot of controversies and thus, the work is progressing very slowly.
