Police have succeeded in arresting four accused with a pistol from Bandra East. It is suspected that the accused came there for the purpose of robbery and the Kherwadi police are investigating further in this matter. Sources informed that all the accused are history sheeters and four to six cases have already been registered against them.
The names of the arrested accused are Sameer Sheikh alias Paya alias Batla, Ghafoor Khan, Aryan Sheikh and Faiyaz Sheikh. All the four have been caught from near Ahimsa Nagar Government Colony in Bandra East. Country pistols, and other materials have been seized from the accused. All the accused are history sheeters. Six cases have been registered against Batla and he was suspended for two years. Seven cases were registered against Ghafoor and he was suspended for two years. Four cases have been registered against Aryan Shaikh and he was also suspended for one year. Also, five cases have been registered against Faiyaz Sheikh and even after he left, he was suspended for six months. There is another accomplice of the accused and the search is on for him.
A case has been registered against the accused for preparing a robbery. There are many government buildings, houses of important persons in Bandra East. In the wake of the election, there has been an increase in the infrastructure in the city. Apart from this, a search operation is being conducted at various places. The Kherwadi police are investigating further in this matter.
