For the Lok Sabha General Election 2024, 28- Mumbai North East Constituency expenditure during the campaign period of the candidates will be audited three times. Electoral decision officer Dr. Dadarao Datkar informed that the first expenditure inspection was conducted by Central Election Inspector Dr. Sunil Yadav in the office at Vikhroli of the constituency. Sitaram Kale, Coordinating Officer of the Cost Control Room was present on this occasion. The next inspection will be held on May 14 and 18 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.



A total of 20 candidates are contesting the Lok Sabha general election from Mumbai North East Lok Sabha constituency. It is mandatory for the candidate or his representative to maintain accounts of election expenses from the date of filing of nomination papers till the date of result. The next inspection will be held on May 14 and May 18 from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Constituency Office, Pirojshaha Nagar, Cultural Hall, Station Side Colony, Godrej Colony near Vikhroli Station, Vikhroli East.

For this purpose, the candidates should keep daily accounts of election expenses for verification of election accounts Register – Part C, Cash Register – Part B, Bank Register Part – C, all original payments and receipts of expenses sorted by date of issue signed by the candidate or representative, up to date passbook / bank Statement, all permission (Vehicle/Meeting/Rally etc.) along with records should be submitted by candidate or representative to Central Inspector of Expenditure.


Electoral Officer Dr. Datkar said that if the candidate or representative is not present for the expenditure verification, necessary action will be taken as per the instructions of the Election Commission.
