Two activists of Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray faction placed paper-made voting machines on a table to show voters in the Bhandup area on Monday morning. After that, Bhandup police detained both the activists and the police are investigating them further.
Two Shiv Sena Uddhav Thackeray group workers placed machines made of paper at the polling booth to show the voters in the Bhandup Lake area on Monday morning. As soon as the police stationed there realised this matter, they immediately rushed to the polling booth and seized the machines.
The police also detained the two workers who kept those machines there. After MLA Sunil Raut got this information, he also rushed to the spot. This time he had an argument with the police for some time. Activists were making voters aware about voting 100 metres away, so Raut demanded that they should be released immediately.
