After Amitabh Bachchan, Bollywood actor Abhishek Bachchan has also tested positive for coronavirus. News regarding the same was confirmed by the actor himself and many celebrities took to Twitter to share their messages. It is also reported that other family members have tested negative and are in isolation.
On Saturday, July 11, Amitabh Bachchan and son Abhishek Bachchan took to Twitter to share the news regarding their health. Abhishek wrote, "Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you."
Abhishek Bachchan's debut web series 'Breathe' was released on Amazon Prime Video on July 10, 2020, and fans have expressed their love for his work. He will soon be seen in a Bollywood film titled 'The Big Bull' which is slated for release on Disney+Hotstar which will be streaming soon.
Meanwhile, actress Rekha's bungalow in Bandra was also sealed by the BMC officials on Sunday, July 11. As per reports, one of her security guards had tested positive for coronavirus and upon knowing the same, BMC has marked the house as containment zone.
