On Saturday, June 11, Bollywood actress Rekha's building, located in Mumbai's Bandra area, was sealed after one of her security guards tested positive for coronavirus. As per reports, her building 'Sea Springs' which is located in Bandra's Bandstand has two security guards and one of them tested positive.
Upon knowing the same, BMC officials sealed her building marking it as containment zone. TOI also reported that the entire area has been sealed by the officials.
Over the last few months, staff members working for several Bollywood celebrities have tested positive for coronavirus, due to which they had quarantined themselves for safety. Janhvi Kapoor, Aamir Khan and Karan Johar were among these celebs and they had shared the news on social media.
Besides this, Veteran Bollywood actor, Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for coronavirus. He was admitted at Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital and shared the news regarding the same, on Saturday, July 11, on Twitter. Fans and many other personalities took to social media to share their messages for his speedy recovery. Later his son, Abhishek too shared the news of being positive for COVID-19. He took to Twitter to share the news and shared that both he and his father have mild symptoms and have informed the authorities.
Official statement regarding Rekha's bungalow is awaited.
