Cafe Coffee Day Owner VG Siddhartha Goes Missing; Leaves Behind A Letter

Cafe Coffee Day founder V. G. Siddhartha was on his way to a business trip from Bengaluru to Mangaluru where he stopped his car at Ullal Bridge and went missing from there. He was accompanied by his driver but there were no traces found.

The driver found a letter which described his anguish of failing to make his company profitable. He concluded the letter by saying that his intentions were never to hurt or mislead someone and that he has failed as an entrepreneur. The letter was addressed to the Board of Directors and the Coffee Day family. Following is the content of the letter: 

 

The search operations are underway. Notably, Cafe Coffee Day has over 1772 centres and was established by V. G. Siddhartha in 1996.
