With an aim to solve Mumbai's pothole problem, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has come up with another initiative. In its 'MyBMC Pothole Fixit' application which is available to Android and iOS users, Mumbaikars can report a pothole and they will get ₹500 if the pothole isn't fixed within 24 hours. But here's the catch-

The pothole should be at least one foot in length and three inches deep on roads maintained by the BMC. The civic authorities have further asked the all seven Deputy Municipal Commissioners to direct their ward-level staff and contractors to look for potholes and fill them by October 31.
