In recent developments with regards to the case of Sushant Singh Rajput, soon after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) summoned Rhea Chakraborty, sources have informed that Chakraborty admitted that the late actor was taking drugs.
Moreover, the NCB informed that on the basis of statements of Dipesh Sawant, house help of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput and digital evidence collected by NCB, it is clear that Dipesh is an active member of drug syndicate connected with high society personalities and drug suppliers.
However, as per reports, Chakraborty has admitted to the NCB that she procured drugs through Dipesh Sawant. The Bollywood actress has admitted that she bought drugs via her brother Showik Chakraborty, however, stating that she did not use them.
As per reports, top NCB officials have also stated that the actor might be arrested by the NCB anytime soon. Rhea was interrogated on Sunday for about six hours by the NCB in the drugs angle linked to the death of Sushant Singh Rajput and is to go for questioning again on Monday, September 7.
Even though over two months have gone by since the actor passed away, the details regarding his death have not come to the forefront. However, as per recent directives, the case is now being investigated by CBI. As the country is filled with conjecture, various sections of the media have been severely criticized for intrusive reporting in this case.
On the other hand, questions regarding the Mumbai Police's investigation were also raised from the very beginning, and over the last few months, some media houses have been raising questions about the functioning of the Mumbai Police at all levels.
