Every year during the monsoon, Mumbai floods to an extent that many areas in the city get affected due to water logging. In order to avoid the same, Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) every year works towards cleaning the Nullahs across the city, and the same practice has been followed this year. BMC had promised to complete the same till May 31, 2018, but it doesn’t seem anywhere near it.
Taking a dig at the corporation and the issue, Congress leader Nitesh Rane tweeted a meme related to Titanic, focusing on BMC’s attention over the issue of flooding and it has definitely caught the eye of media.

Rane tweeted an edited picture of Titanic’s famous scene where ‘Jack’ is in the pot hole instead of the sea, describing the picture as “Titanic (Mumbai Version) Coming Soon!” In his humorous tweet, he mentioned BMC’s Ajoy Mehta as the director of “Titanic (Mumbai Version) and named Mayor Vishwanath Mahadeeshwar as the Assistant Director. Rane also mentioned Uddhav Thackeray and his family in the tweet.
