Over the last few days, many parts of the city have seen a heavy rainfall, due to which the possibility of incidents in the city, has increased.

As per recent reports, a wall has collapsed in Kalyan's National Urdu School. It is being said that the incident occurred due to the rainfall experienced in the early hours on July 2, 2019.

So far, three have been reported dead and one has been injured in the incident. Rescue teams have been deployed at the spot to manage the situation.

Another similar incident was reported in Malad East, where a wall collapsed in the morning, killing nearly 21 people and 75 people have been injured. It is expected that some more people would still be under the debris. As per reports, the ones who have been injured are being treated at hospitals in Jogeshwari and Kandivali.

Keeping the same in mind, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has announced a compensation of ₹5 Lakhs to the ones who lost their lives in the incident reported in Malad.

More information about both incidents is awaited.
