The containment zone poster from the legendary actress Rekha's house had been taken down on Tuesday, July 21, 2020. This indicates that her house is no longer a containment zone.

On July 7, 2020,  after one of Rekha's security guard was tested positive for coronavirus and according to the rules set by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) a poster is put outside the house of anyone who tests positive for coronavirus and they have to be in strict quarantine for 14 days and no one is allowed to enter that area during this time period.  

In the same week actor, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan had also tested positive for coronavirus and were admitted to Nanavati Hospital, later Aishwarya Rai Bachchan along with daughter Aradhya Bachchan had also tested positive for coronavirus. They were initially quarantined in their own house but later shifted to Nanavati Hospital. 

The total number of coronavirus cases in Maharashtra continue to spike. As on July 21, the totally tall for the positive coronavirus patients stands at 3,27,031. More than 1.5 lakh people have made a complete recovery from this disease. The state had extended the lockdown in Maharashtra till July 31. Some relaxations are being given in areas that do not come under the containment zone to allow businesses to continue. However, people are being reminded to follow social distancing norms at all times and go out only if necessary. Moreover, everyone is expected to wear a mask in public places.
