Fire breaks at Bahubali Building in Mumbai's Fort area; one injured

There has been a second fire incident today, August 26 in Mumbai. The second fire in question broke out at the Bahubali building on Kawasji Patel Road in Fort around 7.15 pm.

As soon as the news of the fire was confirmed, five fire renders rushed to the spot. One person is said to be injured in this fire incident. The person in question has sustained 35 per cent burns and his condition remains critical. 

It was initially tagged as a ‘level-2’ fire, but later escalated to ‘level-3’ at around 10.30 pm. By that time the fire had spread to various parts of the building.

There is no official confirmation on the cause of the fire but it is suspected that it might have been caused by a short circuit. A major part of the building has been gutted by the fire and the investigation is still on. 

Earlier in the day, a fire had erupted kn the high-rise building in Worli. However, there  were no injuries reported in the Worli fire
