UPDATE- Fire has been brought under control but the cause of the fire is yet unknown.
On Tuesday, September 4, 2018, a level-II fire broke out near Malad’s Bombay Talkies around 11:27 am. 11 fire engines, ambulance have reached the spot. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.

The blaze reportedly broke out in Somwari Bazar area of Malad West, which houses an array of small business establishments. The fire-affected area is located close to Bombay Talkies.
The fire-fighting operation was underway and the flames were yet to be brought under control. No casualty has been reported.
